During your conference the World Cafe enables you to have an impactful dialogue

The World Cafe Experience is a dynamic session during which ideas and knowledge is shared. The basis of this experience is dialogue and collaboration, not a debate, enabling participants to effectively build on new ideas. Mixed groups of participants are formed and seated around round tables in one room.

During three rounds of 20 minutes, three crucial topics are discussed. The hosts come from your own organization and facilitate the process. All creative ideas are noted on the tablecloths creating a collective mind map, making the connections and solutions visible.
Each World Cafe is kicked off with an inspiring introduction from one of our moderators.

This creates the right mindset for a meaningful dialogue something that goes beyond brainstorming. At the end of the World Cafe we, together with you, reflect back on the experience after which the hosts collate and summarize what is written on the tablecloths.

A conversation, not a debate. We listen to each other’s ideas, adding onto them, ensuring that the idea(s) grow(s).

THE MODERATOR PLAYS A MAJOR ROLE DURING THE WORLD CAFE

The World Cafe is facilitated by a moderator who created the right mindset amongst the participants with his/her inspiring introduction. During the 3 rounds the assistance given, followed by a plenary reflection session, are a guarantee for providing clear results. We work with various experts in this field, depending on the purpose of the session and the chosen methodology.

With the World Cafe we have collected ideas on how the initiatives of local communities can be facilitated in a better way. The World Cafe is an inspiring form of dialogue which raises a lot of food for thought, the benefits of which can be reaped for a long time.

During the 65th anniversay celebration of the Dutch Cosmetics Association the World Cafe Experience provided a major boost to the direction our Association was taking. Our members had a great afternoon and the collaboration within our sector was enhanced even further.
